Mathematics - Level 2 (MAT202)
Qualification: NCEA Level 2
Entry requirements: A minimum of 10 credits at NCEA Level 1 Mathematics including 1.1 (91944 Statistical Methoods), 1.2 (91945: Mathematical Methods) or 1.4 (91947: Mathematical Reasoning). Entry is at the discretion of the HOLA.
Content/Skills: This course has both an algebraic and a statistical approach to solving problems. Topics studies are Algebra, Trigonometry, Sequences, Calculus, Probability and Statistical Inference. Concepts are related to real-life situations and contextual problems are used throughout the course.
