Qualification: NCEA Level 2
Entry requirements: A minimum of 15 credits at NCEA Level 1 Mathematics including 1.1 (91026: Number), and at least Merit in either 1.2 (91027: Algebra) or 1.3 (91028: Tables and Graphs). Entry is at the discretion of the HOLA.
Content/Skills: This course has both an algebraic and a statistical approach to solving problems. Topics studies are Algebra, Trigonometry, Sequences, Calculus, Probability and Statistical Inference. Concepts are related to real-life situations and contextual problems are used throughout the course.
