The school regularly practices building evacuations in the event of a fire. Heat sensors installed in the ceilings, as well as manual alarm points, may activate the fire alarm.

Fire extinguishers are available in all laboratories for safety.

During evacuations, Ako Captains are responsible for assisting their class to safely exit the building and assemble on the tennis courts.
