Congratulations to all our students and staff who took part in our Christchurch Girls' High School | Te Kura o Hine Waiora Lip Sync this year.

On Thursday 8th August amongst the rain and cold, students, parents and staff heated up the Christchurch Boys' High auditorium for the annual Christchurch Girls' High School | Te Kura o Hine Waiora Lip Sync.

This year we were once again treated to a hog-killin’ time performance from our staff who were up against our Whanaungatanga house perfect team. This was a close battle with the prefect team coming away with the win for the first time in 4 years.  

This year we were treated to performances from each of our six school houses, our Polysync and Whānau group, our librarians, the rugby team and Acland house as well as performances from our school Prefects and the Boys' High monitors. They were all wonderful and did an amazing job. 

Rolleston took out the house title this year with a performance showcasing the musical and moves of Taylor Swift. Acland House won the open section with a snapshot life at home for many of our Acland students.

This year the Boys' High Monitors took the win over our school Prefects with their rendition of popular movies.

Thank you also to all the staff and whānau who came along to support our students and well done to all our students who spent many a lunchtime, before school and after school practicing to make it such a great night.
