Last week our Y9 team went to Tūranga to compete in the Canterbury Reader's Cup competition.

All the teams had to read the same six books and then answer some very challenging memory questions. The CGHS team of Ffion, Mana, Meg B, Jasmine and Maisie competed with great enthusiasm and skill, but ultimately were up against some much stronger readers. The teams’ supporters enjoyed their own quiz, warm 'sidelines' and good coffee in this wonderful venue.
