On Monday the 9th and Tuesday 10th of August, a Year 9 team and a Year 10 team from Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora attended the Canterbury Secondary School Badminton Teams event for juniors.

Both teams did extremely well and played some great badminton. 

The Year 9 team placed 2nd, which is a great achievement for the Girls’ High Badminton team. 

There were lots of spectators showing their support for both our teams which the players really enjoyed. 

All of the players who attended the tournament got a lot out of the experience, and I can definitely say they have lots of great badminton ahead of them.
