Last Wednesday, a past student, Jennifer Morrison, visited the English department to spend time assisting in a range of classes.

Jennifer's passion for English has taken her from being in ESOL classes in her first years of schooling in New Zealand to taking out the top prize in Year 12 English last year, as well as the Jane Austen essay competition, the May Campbell Anderson literature award and the PTA prizes for Media and Classics.

 
Jennifer was accepted for early entry to the University of Canterbury as a Year 12 graduate and is currently completing the first year of her Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and Classics, with the aim of becoming a teacher.
