During the holidays, eight of our students ran 10km each in the NZ Club National Road Relay championships.

The original historic event from the Sign of the Takahe to Akaroa had to be changed to Bottle Lake Forest here in Christchurch.

For the second year, Athletics Canterbury together with CANRUN invited three Secondary High Schools to take part in this run to grow the participation of women runners. Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora placed third which was a fantastic effort in some tough conditions.

All runners had a great run and had a fun day out. Well done!
