Thank you to all our students who got in behind this amazing cause and supported Pink Day on Thursday 27 October.

Unfortunately, there are still 3,500 women and 25 men diagnosed with breast cancer every year in New Zealand.

Every year Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora supports the Breast Cancer Foundation by going Pink and this year our students did not disappoint. 

We encourage all our school community to get in behind this cause to help the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ to achieve its vision of zero deaths from breast cancer by purchasing a pink Ribbon this month. 

We also encourage all our extended school whānau to book in for a mammogram. Breast screening saves lives.
