Start dates have been established for a number of winter sports.

Basketball start: 

• Friday 19 June – all teams, apart from Senior A team
• Tuesday 23 June – Senior A Whelan Trophy

Hockey start: 

• Wednesday 17 June – all teams, apart from 1st XI
• Friday 26 June – 1st XI

Wednesday Sport start: 

• 24 June – Badminton, Football, Netball, Squash
• Term 3 - Rugby

Netball start: 

• Tuesday 23 June – Senior A team
• Saturday 27 June - Senior B team
• Saturday 18 July – all other teams; C – V teams

Winter tournament week: 31 August – 4 September

• 29 – 31 August: South Island Road Championships, Blenheim

Hockey:

• 31 August – 4 September: 1st XI Premiership Tournament, Christchurch
• 31 August – 4 September: 2nd XI Championship Tournament, Nelson

Aerobics Regionals: 

• 8 August, Christchurch

Other regional tournaments and events are yet to announced or confirmed.

Quadrangular tournament

• 3 August, Timaru. This involves Senior A Basketball, Senior A Netball and 1st XI Hockey. The other schools involved are Avonside, Timaru and Waitaki Girls’ High Schools.
