Last Sunday the Christchurch Girls' High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora Polo team played in the South Island Schools tournament out in Sefton.

Congratulations to the team, Olivia Trolove, Georgie Wright and Olivia Doughty who came away with second place in the grade. It was a successful day for the team with two wins and one loss after losing a tough game to Combined Schools.

It was a great day of Polo out at Waireka and was very exciting to see so many people there. A big thank you to the team at Waikrea as none of this could be possible without them and the hard work they do.

 A big congratulations to the girls who also received a special award for service in the yard. The team is keen to get more players for term four so if you have any interest in playing polo email 21troloo@cghs.school.nz.
