Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Equestrian club entered 3 teams in the Canterbury interschools Dressage competition held on Monday 7th September at McLeans Island.

The CGHS Red team, which consisted of Holly Anderson, Tinesha Benson, Jaime Currie and Estella Velenski placed 3rd overall out of 27 teams. An amazing achievement with some talented dressage riders.

The CGHS Blue team, consisting of Cailtyn Hey, Emily Van Herpt, Millie Lough and Angela Fuller and the CGHS White team, consisting of Alyssa Ward, Emily Heald, Kate Gutry and Hayley Duggan also had pleasing results and competed fantastically on the day.

A special mention goes to Estella Velenski who was awarded the Langdale Cup and sash for the best overall scores for both level 1 dressage tests of the day. Congratulations Estella!
