NCEA Results

Sonja Bailey, Assistant Principal —

Firstly, thank you for all the hard work that our wonderful students have put into their learning this year.

Things have been moved around in courses, changes made to standards taught, in order to accommodate what has been a disruptive year. It has been great to have students coming in after their exams and letting us know that on the whole, the examinations have not been too bad.

NZQA have let us know that they will be advising the release date for the 2020 NCEA examinations results once exams finish. It is usually mid-January but may be slightly later next year due to the delay in the start date of examinations.

NZQA have also requested that “Students should practice logging into the NZQA website using their Learner Login before Christmas, so they are not held up on the day results are released by having to find login details or change their password”

When the results are released, students will be able to use their student login to see how many Learning Recognition Credits they have earned. There will be regular calculations to include any additional or late results received until the end of the academic year, or any changes in results after reviews or reconsiderations.

For those of you who are waiting for your New Zealand Record of Achievement, this will be updated when the 2020 results are released in January. It will then be available in electronic format, or can be ordered in hard copy, through your Student Login.

If you need to change your address for the returning of answer booklets, please let the school know ASAP as our final upload is on the 1st December.
