The Australian Mathematics Competition is sat by the most talented mathematicians in New Zealand and Australia.

 This year, due to Covid-19, only a small number of Year 9 and 10 Christchurch Girls High Students participated in this competition.

In Year 9 Madeleine Eastgate and Alex Nicholl both earned Distinction Awards. Madeline was placed in the top 10% and Alex the top 17% of their year level.

In Year 10 Mana Hiramoto also earned a Distinction Award and was placed in the top 20% of her year level.
