Tonga Language Week Uike Kātoanga'i 'o e Lea Faka-Tonga took place between 5th and11th September 2021.

The theme for Tonga Language Week 2021 was: "Fakakoloa 'o Aotearoa 'aki 'a e Ako Lelei." "Enriching Aotearoa with holistic education."

We have a small group of Tongan students who shared with the school some of their traditional Tongan attire. 

Due to Covid, a number of daily events that were planned for the week were cancelled. This included Tongan language lessons, Tongan dance lessons, a combined secondary school Tongan performance, Tongan food taster session and a parent panel. We look forward to sharing these events in 2022.
