The CGHS Seven's team travelled to Auckland to defend their national title in December last year.

They played five pool games which they won convincingly to make it through to the quarter finals, where they also had a good win. The semi-final was a nail biter with a draw at full time meaning extra time (golden point) was played. Despite a gutsy effort by our girls, they unfortunately lost.

The girls have a wonderful team spirit and represented the school well. Despite their disappointment in not making the final, they can be proud of finishing 3rd. Congratulations to Jorja Miller who was named female MVP of the tournament. Jorja was named in the tournament team along with Bella Lister and Holly Wratt-Groeneweg.
