Brooke Keown, Year 11, raced at the NZ BMX Championships held in Rotorua on the 13th & 14th March 2021.

Over 530 riders competed over the weekend from across NZ, with the racing live-streamed by SKY TV on their YouTube channel. Brooke crashed heavily during her first race of the weekend and after being patched up by St John staff, was able to complete her other six races. In a hard fought final Brooke raced hard and came away with a well deserved third place.
