On Friday 31st May, Mele Peseta and Ruth Tuivakano were acknowledged for their leadership of our Pasifika students at a breakfast event held at the Christchurch City Council.

Each school in Canterbury was able to select two Emerging Pasifika leaders for this event. Mele is our Pasifika Prefect and together with Ruth is joint leader of our Polyfest group.

Both girls are deserved recipients of this honour as they have worked tirelessly to ensure that our Pasifika students are given many opportunities to connect to their culture.
