Whanau Hui – Term 1, 2019

CGHS Publication —

The first whānau hui for 2019 will be held on Tuesday 2nd April. The evening will commence at 6.00p.m in the staffroom.

The kura whanau consists of any akonga (students) and their whanau who are involved with kaupapa Maori within the school such as: being enrolled in the whanau ako class, learning Te Reo Maori, participating in kapahaka as well as those ākonga and their whānau who identify as being Māori.

The first whānau meeting is an informal opportunity to come along and find out more about kaupapa Māori in our kura and discuss our plans for the year. It is also an opportunity to meet some key people who are involved with facilitating kaupapa Māori within the kura.

We aim to be finished by 7.00 p.m and a light supper will be provided.

We hope that you will take the opportunity to come into the kura and meet more members of our Christchurch Girls’ High School/Te Kura o Hine Waiora community.
