This year our International group at school was called the Global relations group.

With the aim of fostering better understanding of different cultures and increasing global awareness our Globalrelations prefect, YouRim Kang did an amazing job leading this group. In Term 1 they held a henna fundraiser and donated towards the Al Noor Mosque fund for families affected by last years tragedies. 

In Term 3 a very successful International week saw students enjoying international food and culture from around the world, the girls worked hard to create a wonderful week full of interesting experiences for the students at Christchurch Girls’ High School.

The Global relations group ran a stall selling candyfloss at our Pink day carnival they had a great time and raised over $300 for Breast cancer research.

The Global relations group contributes so much to our school culture and helps our students connectwith some of the amazing cultures that make up our world.
