Our talented and enthusiastic Theatresports leader, Gwyn Walker, has been selected to be in the Youth Jester Company at The Court Theatre.

Gwyn had to complete a nerve-wracking audition, but we are sure she earned her place by demonstrating all the flair, energy, and passion for Theatresports that has made her such a wonderful leader for our club.

As part of this troop, she will spend a year under the tutelage of professional comedians, developing skills in improvised theatre. The end goal of this programme is to perform on-stage in Scared Scriptless. 

Last year Tilly Walbom, was part of this programme and is now an apprentice Court Jester, so hopefully we will see more professional Christchurch Girls’ High school / Te Kura o Hine Waiora improvisers on stage in the future.
