Online Learning At CGHS

CGHS Publication —

The Senior Leadership Team at CGHS have discussed the best way to deliver online learning to our students over the coming weeks. We aim to keep what we believe are the best aspects of being at school combined with a continuation where possible with our learning programs.

We would like to maintain our students' sense of belonging and connectedness with the school, teachers and their peers. To enable this, staff have been sent out the following summary that outlines the structure of online learning (click here to view). This means there will be a mixture of face-to-face contact via an online platform (synchronous), as well as flipped learning activities which will be set and can be completed at various times throughout the day. Face to face learning sessions may involve direct teaching, online discussion time as well as a chance to ask questions about any work set. The time slots will be set up and linked to our normal school timetable.

We are all learners in this online environment and are quickly upskilling to enable a smooth transition for when we resume learning back at school.
