Lucy Walton has been awarded 1st prize in the Year 11-13 Law category of the UC School of Law Essay Competition 2021.

This is a tremendous achievement and is a testament to both Lucy’s hard work and skill. The competition was open to secondary school students across the country and the UC School of Law received a large number of entries, all of a high standard.

Lucy will receive a prize for the winning entry and Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora will also receive $100. 

The University of Canterbury is keen to support and encourage students in their endeavours and we thank them for providing our students with this opportunity.
