Last Friday, we took a junior team to Hoon Hay Park for a Ki-o-Rahi tournament.

The tournament was a mixed tournament, our group was competing against a variety of students from kura in Ōtautahi in eight games. The students had a blast even though the game was completely new to some of them and the team had never practiced or played together before.

Stella Crossan received an award at the end of the day for showing exceptional sportsmanship and values. All of the students did very well and made a lasting impression on all schools and whānau that were watching.
