The subject of this year's competition is the Kowhai tree (Sophora microphylla). Congratulations to Toni Philpott (Year 10) who is this year’s winner.

The Mavis Atkinson Competition for the painting of New Zealand flora and fauna is run annually by the Science Learning Area. 

Congratulations to Toni Philpott 10TLC who is this year’s winner. Toni will receive $150 and a certificate at Prizegiving and have her painting framed and displayed in the school alongside winning entries from previous years. 

Second place is awarded to Lea Passchier 13ORC who will receive $50.
