Senior Speech Competition

CGHS Publication —

On 8 August we held the Senior Speech Competition for 2022. We had eight fantastic speakers from across the senior school discussing a number of fantastic topics.

Our winner was Jasmine Glennie from Year 12 with a speech on diversity that really made the audience think. Our two runners-up were Kate Koller (Year 13) discussing why feminism is for everyone and Fes Taiulu (Year 12) and her speech on racism here in Aotearoa.

A huge congratulations to all our speakers on having the courage to stand up on stage and put themselves out there. The speeches were informative, persuasive and engaging and enjoyed by the audience.
