Lifesaving Examinations
On Friday 21st June a group of students were assessed on their lifesaving skills.
After training for their awards during Term 2, students were assessed by an Examiner from the New Zealand Royal Association of Lifesaving .
The Examiner assessed their ability to rescue a swimmer in difficulty, first aid skills, and their ability to respond with suitable actions according to the situation.
Students also had to complete a timed swim.
Thank you to the senior students who instructed. They gave up their time and were committed to ensuring that everyone was fully prepared for the examination.
