The Australian Mathematics Competition is sat by the most talented mathematicians in New Zealand and Australia. This year we had only a small number of Year 9, 10 and 11 Christchurch Girls High Students who participated in this competition.

In Year 9, Jaimee Moffitt was placed in the top 20%, gaining a Distinction award. Medha Baadkar and Zara Hunter gained Credit awards placing them in the top 55% of competitors.

In Year 10, Annabel Diprose and Anika Mackle-Bayley both gained Credit awards, placing them in the top 55% of competitors.

In Year 11, Charlotte Xie and Abigail Lee also gained Credit awards, placing them in the top 55% of competitors.
