In Term 1 a number of our students were treated to a performance of Romeo and Juliet (renamed as Romeo and Jules) from the Ugly Shakespeare Company.

This was, by far, the best performance that we have seen from this company, and the funniest. Audience participation was a key ingredient in the show's success, with student names being dropped into the script (much to their surprise!), individuals being asked to play the musical accompaniment during some scenes, and small groups being brought up on stage to take part in the performance.
