University Liaison visits to CGHS over the next two weeks

  • Mon 18th March, Auckland University Liaison staff will be at the Library in Break 2.
  • Tues 19th March, Massey University Liaison staff will be at the Library in Break 2.
  • Mon 25th March, Canterbury University Liaison staff will be in the PAC in Break 2.

Force Fit

Students who are interested to learn what a career in the defence force would look like are invited to an evening information session to learn more about the exciting roles and career opportunities available in the NZ Defence Force.

Lattitude Global Volunteering – 2020 Gap Year applications are open now.

Lattitude Global Volunteering is an international youth development organisation, providing Gap Year and International Volunteering placements for young New Zealanders aged 17-25.

An information evening will be held in Christchurch on the following dates.

Applications are now open for the Lattitude Global Volunteering programmes in 2020. Their closing date is Monday 29th April 2019. Find out more here

Ara will be holding a Nursing, Pre-Health Preparation for Study, and Applied Science Session at their Manawa Campus (beside the new Outpatients Building at the Hospital) on Wednesday 3rd April.

  • Nursing 5.30 – 7.00pm
  • Pre- Health 7.00 – 7.30pm
  • Applied Science 7.30 – 8.00pm

Ara will also be holding an Open Day on Thursday 13th June 2-5pm.

Ara I.T. Girls Free Holiday Workshop on April 15 & 16

Get hands-on with IT – including gaming, the internet and robotics – and explore the enormous array of career opportunities available in this fast-evolving industry. Designed for female students in Year 9 and 10. Register here

UC will be holding a Discover the Bachelor of Arts event in the upcoming school holidays from 15-17 April, 8.45 – 2pm each day. This is a taster programme for students that introduces all major subjects over the course of three days. This is a free event. Register here
