Last weekend the Canterbury Secondary Schools Squash Championship took place.

Tanisha Butt and Petra Curd-McCullough competed in this. The competition consisted of three games over the weekend. Tanisha was very unfortunate to just miss out on getting into the finals, with a nail biting match for her semis. She sadly lost in the 5th set 16/14. However, she went on to win her final game, securing 3rd place.

Petra managed to win the competition, for the third year in a row, and was able to bring the trophy back to CGHS.

We both enjoyed the games and look forward to representing CGHS again next year, hopefully with a few more girls :)
