Student librarians organised amazing activities in the library this week.

Pink Shirt Day - “Speak up - Stand Together - Stop Bullying”

Student librarians made beautiful posters with anti-bullying books and promoted this years “Speak up - Stand Together - Stop Bullying”.

Happy Mother’s Day

We also observed Mother’s Day with celebrations in Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora library.  Student librarians made beautiful notes for their mums which they enjoyed.

Readers’ Cup team

The 2023 Readers’ cup team started practice in the library. The 2022 Reader’s cup team is mentoring them for the competition. They must read six books very closely and then go up against 14 other teams at Tūranga on 20 June 2023 at 5.30pm. The winning team will go into the National competition.
