May Campbell Anderson Competition
Rosemary Walbom is the winner of this year's May Campbell Anderson English competition.
This prestigious prize for Year 12 students involves a three hour examination on a selection of English texts. This year the competitors studied a range of New Zealand poetry and new short stories; the classic novel 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles, by Thomas Hardy; the play 'The Crucible', by Arthur Miller; and 'In Order to Live', an autobiography by North Korean, Yeonmi Park.
