Ella Meikle, Year 10, represented CGHS at the CISS Snow Sports Championships at Cardrona ski field over the weekend.

Strong winds made the trip down on Thursday very 'interesting' and prevented the lifts from running on Friday, allowing Ella only 30 minutes of training. Conditions were vastly improved on Saturday for competition however, resulting in all the competitors skiing well. 

Ella placed third in the girls' Giant Slalom Ski, a great achievement as all secondary school age groups compete together for these events.
