Samoan Language Week
This year's theme for Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa - Samoa Language Week is Fa’aāuāu le Folauga i le Va’a o Tautai - Continue the Voyage with Competent Wayfinders of the Ocean.
Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora acknowledged this milestone by organizing a Pasifika Dance Workshop with Fonoti Vaiotausala Natalie Leitulagi Toevai.
A talented performer who has gifted the world with her talents across many of the Pacific Dance platforms and acting, Natalie teaches and performs all over the world. She has been involved in Performing Arts Projects including the Tempo Dance Festival, Pacific Dance Choreographic Lab, Cult Couture and the Pacific Fusion Showcase.
Natalie holds a Master of Arts in Pacific studies and speaks at various Dance platforms. She is a former Miss Samoa and has been a dancer for the phenomenal Ura Tabu Pacific Dance Group since 2013.
Our students were blessed with the opportunity to hear, learn, perform and laugh with a phenomenal woman who embraces her culture, language and her Samoan identity in her offering of Dance.
