Last Friday 26th July, our CGHS CBHS Combined orchestra travelled and played to several of our contributing intermediate schools.

In what was an action-packed day, we performed five concerts (Cobham (twice), Breens, Heaton and Kirkwood) in six hours.

The concerts were highly interactive with the instruments demonstrated, a Pops Medley that students could sing along with and guess the tunes from and an opportunity for students to conduct the orchestra themselves.

The intermediate audiences were superb and entered into the spirit of the concerts with great enthusiasm.

Exhausted by the end of the day, the orchestra performed superbly throughout.
