On Saturday 5 November, our talented and enthusiastic team participated in the Junior Theatresports Competition organised by The Court Theatre.

The team of Kate Bennett, Bee Sutcliffe, Luce Dawson, Apollo Ferry, Savreet Malhi and Erin Darton took out their heat and now progress to the final on 27 November against Christchurch’s top young improvisers. The team has been coached throughout the year by Emily McVicar and other senior students. 

All actresses performed with confidence and enthusiasm, demonstrating a wonderful understanding of the games they played. Beginning with the challenging blind round game of speaking in one voice, they showcased their exceptional teamwork and listening skills. Their choice and challenge games enabled them to build diverse characters and weave a variety of storylines together with entertaining results. The judges complimented the team on their technical skills, great offers, and ability to create engaging scenes.
