On Wednesday evening the top team from our in-house Readers Cup competition competed in the regional contest held at Tūranga Library.

The four Year 9 students (Maddie Eastgate, Evelyn King, Holly Ross and Mariella Wallace) competed against eight other schools from the wider Canterbury region. All of the teams had been tasked with reading and memorising details from six different novels.

It was a tough competition and our team did very well coming 7th overall. Well done.
