Three Christchurch Girls High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora students represented Canterbury in the Taranaki 2022 Eventing Championships over the school holidays.

The students that were selected were:

• Grace Gormack - Horse Rosewood Zakee
• Tinesha Benson - Horse Bess
• Elise Shrimpton - Horse Pied Piper (reserve)

The team did exceptionally well and came home with a 2nd place in the overall team competition and also won the Team Dressage Cup.

Tinesha and her horse Bess also came away with a trophy for the best dressage in the Dorothy Campbell Trophy Competition, plus 1st overall team pair in the Dressage Cup Competition.
