Throughout the 2018 season, the 6 CGHS Hockey teams have had some outstanding performances. We have 5 teams in the top 4 in their respective divisions which is fantastic to see how strong the club is!

Last Friday was a very special day for the 1st XI captain, Sophie White, who reached a very special milestone, playing her 100th game for the CGHS 1st XI.

Finals are fast approaching us! The 1st XI will be playing Rangi Ruru 1st XI on Friday, 17 August at 5.10pm Marist Park, in their semi-final in the Connectics SPP Championship. With the big final next Friday. Later on in school tournament week, the team will be travelling up to Whangarei to compete for the Federation Cup.

On Wednesday, 15 August at 5.25pm at Nunweek Park, the 2nd XI will be taking on Rangi Ruru 2nd XI in their last pool game before finals next week. The team has had a great season, and will be finishing it off in style by travelling down to Ashburton in school tournament week to compete for the Chris Arthur Cup.
