On Wednesday, two groups from Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora participated in the annual Chamber Music Competition

The two groups were 'The Glinka Trio' - Estella Wallace - Clarinet, Ingrid Kosaka - Cello and Anna Smith - Piano, performing Trio Pathetique by Glinka and 'Strings Upon Avon' Charlotte Cotton and Kate Gardiner Violins, Heather Paget - Viola, and Charlie Roberts Cello performing the first movement of Dvorak's 'American Quartet.'

Both groups worked extremely hard to prepare their performances and performed superbly on the day. My thanks to Anne Clark for her hard work tutoring 'Strings Upon Avon' and to both groups for the hours of effort they put into preparing their performances.
