This year the Junior (Year 9 & 10) and Senior (Year 11 – 13) prizegiving ceremonies will again be held separately. The senior ceremony will be held at Christchurch Boys’ High School on Thursday 5 December starting at 6.00pm. The Junior Prizegiving will be held on the morning of Friday 6 December in the CGHS Gymnasium.

Our intention moving forward is to return to gathering the whole school together to acknowledge the achievements of our students. Our current venue CBHS does not allow for this. In 2020 we have a booking for the Town Hall and we will be returning back to a whole school celebration.

All of Year 13 will be attending the senior prizegiving as this is their graduating year and their parents/caregivers will be invited. We would like all Year 11 and 12 students to attend the senior event and acknowledge and celebrate the success of their peers. All prize winners from Years 11 and 12 will be notified shortly and invites sent to their parents/caregivers. Additional invites will be sent to the parents/caregivers of the girls in the orchestra, jazz band, choir, and kapa haka. Students are to wear winter uniform including blazers.

All Year 9 and 10 students are expected to attend the Junior prizegiving on Friday 6 December. All prize winners from Years 9 and 10 will be notified and invites sent to their parents/caregivers.
