The Ministry of Education no longer requires schools to report covid case numbers.

This means that when your child tests positive or has to isolate as a household contact, you no longer need to email covid@cghs.school.nz to report this. 

Please do still contact the school, as usual at attendance@cghs.school.nz to report if your child is away due to being covid positive/household contact so we can code this attendance accurately.

This data is used for assessment extensions, so we do still need to know via our usual absence channels. 

We encourage students to log onto their google classrooms to keep up to date with what is happening in classes while they are away and once they are feeling better.
