On Sunday 26 September, 3 duathletes took to the streets of Southbridge to represent our school in the Canterbury Secondary School Duathlon Championships.

With the race being uncertain due to COVID levels, it was great that the students were able to compete. The day dawned wet and cold in Southbridge, so the 3 students should all be congratulated for their willingness to get out of bed and get to the start line. In the race itself, Michelle Walker and Lucy Wheeler raced in the U14 grade. 

Lucy came 6th and Michelle 10th. In the U16 grade, Lola Bryson-Boe placed first and she was also the fastest female overall.

A huge congratulations to all three of these students for their fabulous performances on a tough day for racing!
