The annual CGHS Swimming Sports were held at the Wharenui Swimming Pool.

There was a great turn out with many fabulous new faces, especially the new and enthusiastic year 9’s, as well as some eager returning competitors. The afternoon was full of much excitement throughout all of the races, especially our house relay and school vs hostel relay.

Congratulations to the school team who won against the determined hostel team. Also a massive congrats to Selwyn House, who not only won the school relay, but overall won the most house points though their great participation and placements!

Well done to all who competed and a massive thank you to the teachers and fellow Year 13 students who helped allow the swimming sports to happen.
