On the 9th of September our Social Studies class 10 BOJ, held a sausage sizzle to fundraise for World Vision and their goal to provide fresh and clean water to people in need.

We decided to hold this fundraiser because we had been learning about the water scarcity crisis around the world and we were very interested in helping those in need. In total we raised $123 to put towards providing a $108 water pump to provide clean, fresh and convenient water close to the homes of children and families. We feel very proud and fortunate to have had the opportunity to help others who are struggling.
