Year 12 Tourism Students
Year 12 Tourism students recently enjoyed two action-packed days exploring local tourist attractions.
On Friday, 26 July, the group headed to Hanmer Springs for a thrilling jet boat ride with Amuri Jets.
From here the students then enjoyed a relaxing soak in the Hanmer Springs Hot pools and fun on the hydro slides.
The adventure continued on Monday, 29 July, with a trip to Mt Hutt ski field. Despite the unpredictable weather, students embraced the mountain experience. For some, it was their first time on skis, and they conquered the magic carpet with enthusiasm. Experienced skiers took on the challenge of the mountain, navigating through the misty conditions.
These trips provided invaluable insights into the tourism industry, allowing students to experience firsthand the operations of local attractions and the diverse roles within the sector.
