On Tuesday 21 August, CGHS held its annual Lip Sync Competition.

After many hours of practice and learning routines, lots of fun and entertainment was had in the new Lip Sync venue of Christchurch Boys' High School.

This year we had four competitions taking place on the night. The evening was started by a staff team of "Garden Bellas" facing off against the House "Wiggles" captains. There was the talent section with Acland house narrowly placing second to the dancing inspirations of Bess Park and Min Bin. The six school houses competed against each other in an array of colour and talent, At the end of six amazing performances, it was the Harry Potter inspired Sheppard house which took home top spot, before the evening was closed by the Boys' High Monitors taking on our own Girls' High Prefects.

 After five years of losses to our girls, the monitors used their home stage advantage and took home the school bragging honours. A huge congratulations to all the students who competed on Tuesday night and special mention to our six house prefects who put in a lot of time and effort to make the night a great success.
