The CGHS Quartet visited Miss Doyle at Hoon Hay Retirement Village.

This time we were in a general lounge in the Dementia Unit, so, instead of the audience being a quiet group of Miss Doyle’s relatives and friends, who know the concert protocols. The girls were in front of a larger audience, some of whom were very noisy and distracting. The girls were not distracted at all. It was a good warm-up for their playing at the Chamber Music Contest at The Piano this Wednesday.

In their chatting later with Miss Doyle, they were so gracious, polite and patient. I couldn’t have been more proud of them.
