On Wednesday evening our Senior A netball team played in the Supernet final at Cowles Stadium against St Margaret’s College in front of a large crowd of supporters from both CGHS and St Margaret's.

Our team played a skilled, fast game of netball to outplay St Margaret’s and win the title for 2019. The final score was 33 – 29, although the team was winning by a comfortable margin going into the final quarter. This was a significant win for the team as CGHS had not won the Supernet title since 2003! Huge congratulations to the team and coaches, Georgia McRae and Rosie Stewart.

The A Netball team has one more final to contest before the South Island tournament starting on 2 September in Nelson. This Tuesday night they will be playing in the Premier 2 Club competition against Technical B.
