Last year the CGHS Sevens team was very proud of its success.

We did what no other South Island team had done before, we won the National Secondary Schools Condor Sevens Tournament! 

Earlier this year we were given the opportunity to travel to Japan and compete at the Sanix World 7s Tournament to represent Christchurch Girls’ High School, as well as New Zealand.  Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the tournament was cancelled. Although devastated, the girls have shown resilience and motivation which led to a successful performance at South Island Secondary Schools tournament (SISS), taking it out undefeated this year!
